change that ugly twitter for mac (2.0.2) icon

what’s up with twitter for mac changing it’s icon with each release so far? it’s gone from black - to blue - to ugly. here’s how you can change it:

  1. quit twitter for mac
  2. remove twitter for mac from your dock
  3. open terminal
  4. cd /Applications/Twitter.app/Contents/Resources 
  5. sudo mv Icon3.icns Icon.icns
  6. type in your password
  7. open twitter

note: you can replace Icon3.icns with Icon2.icns (in step 5) if you liked twitter for mac’s initial black icon. Icon3.icns was twitter for mac 2.0.1’s blue icon.
